Maize Silage Chopper

TÜMOSAN Maize Silage Chopper is an economical machine powered directly by the tractor power-take-off shaft and it operates without tiring the tractor with low power and low fuel depletion for many years without any problem. It is able to perform high-quality cutting even at the maximum work speed with its mowing discs that are made from special steel material with a high degree of hardness and that have the automatic grinding unit; in this way, the nutrients and the juice of the plant are preserved.

A crushing plate may be placed inside the cutting mechanism in order to crush particularly the dry corn grains. The silage length is determined with the help of the crushing plate that could be adjusted by means of a bolt. It blows the crushed material quickly through the discharge pipe towards the trailer thanks to its strong fan and air foils on the fan. The discharge pipe can be directed using a remote control without tiring the user. The pipe may be extended optionally. Thanks to the foldable pipe, one can easily use it in the lowest places. The machine parts are protected by a safety mechanism against overloading. In the calculation of the work efficiency of the machine, the working speed has been assumed to be between 7-9 km/h and the average crop yielded has been assumed to be between 8-10 tons/da, which are the optimal values for silage harvesting. Since many factors such as the land conditions and the density of the plant in the land affect the average values used for the working speed and yield of the maize silage, it should be noted that the calculated productivity may change.
